On the 9th November 2006, following consultation, South Derbyshire District Council approved its Statement of Licensing (Gambling) and Statement of Principles Policy. The Document below sets out how the Councils wishes gambling in its widest form to be conducted and enforced in its area.
The Full Council also decided that they wished to pursue a "No Casino Policy" in the South Derbyshire area. We are therefore consulting on the proposal prior to returning to Full Council for amendment of the policy. Read more about the "No Casino Policy" and send your comments.
