Proxy Votes

You are welcome to apply for a proxy application form if you are unable to go to your Polling Station on election day. A proxy is someone who will go to the polling station and vote with your authority on your behalf.

The deadline for receipt of proxy applications is 6 working days before an election, except in cases where unforeseen illness or incapacity occurs after that time in which case applications may be made up until 5.00 p.m. on election day.

If you would like to apply to vote by proxy then you can download the form here, print, complete and return it to the address below. Alternatively you can pick up an application form from reception at the Civic Offices, Swadlincote or use the contact details below to request a form.

There isn't a local election scheduled for South Derbyshire this year.
