Top Ten Energy Saving Tips

1. Turn your central heating thermostat down 1 degree C 
2. Only boil the water you need - not a full kettle
3. Put lids on pans when cooking
4. Turn off lights when leaving a room
5. Close the fridge door straight away don’t wait until you come back with the
   bottle of milk.
6. Dry your washing outside on the line
7. Use 'A' rated Light Bulbs where ever possible
8. Make sure your hot water tank is insulated
9. Insulate your hot water pipes
10. Always buy 'A' rated white goods
