Planning Application Fee Increases From 6 April 2008

 

The Government has announced that planning application fees are to rise on 6 April 2008.

Examples of fee changes include:

Householder extensions

  • Current fee: £135
  • Proposed fee: £150

New Dwelling 

  • Current fee:£265
  • Proposed fee:£335

Outline applications

  • Current fee: £265 per 0.1 hectare of site area
  • Proposed fee: £335 per 0.1 hectare of site area

Change of use of a dwellinghouse to building to two or more dwellinghouses

  • Current fee: £265 per additional dwelling created
  • Proposed fee: £335 per additional dwelling created

Change of use of a building to one or more dwellinghouses

  • Current fee: £265 per dwelling created
  • Proposed fee: £335 per dwelling created

Change of use:

  • Current fee: £265
  • Proposed fee: £335

Advertisement on business premises

  • Current fee: £75
  • Proposed fee: £95
