Major Sites Conjoined Appeal Inquiry

 

Closure of Public Inquiry into planning appeals relating to major housing proposals at Willington Power Station, Boulton Moor, Wragley Way, Stenson Fields Farm and Highfields Farm


Public Inquiry closure announced on Tuesday 26 February 2008

The Public Inquiry into the planning appeals started at the Bretby Conference Centre at 10:00am on Tuesday 15 May 2007. The final Inquiry session was held on Friday 25 January 2008 and the formal closure of the Inquiry was announced in writing on Tuesday 26 February 2008.

The Inquiry was held by Harold Stephens, an independent Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. He will prepare a report with recommendations which will be submitted to the Secretary of State who will issue the decision in due course.
