Saved’ Local Plan Policies
The Secretary of State has issued a Direction under paragraph 1(3) of Schedule 8 to the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 in respect of policies in the Adopted South Derbyshire Local Plan (1998).
Accordingly, the policies set out in the table (linked below) are ‘Saved’ until such time they are superseded by relevant Local Development Framework documents. Those policies not listed will expire on 27th September 2007.
It is essential in referring to Adopted Local Plan policies in the Written Statement and the Proposals Map that cross reference is also made to the List of Adopted Local Plan policies saved beyond 27th September 2007.

Instructions
- Visit the Proposals Map
- Click Find places on the map found on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Type the address, or part of address, you are interested in. If you are unsure of the full address of a location, typing part of the address will give you a list of all the possible locations. Select the one you are interested in.
- Select the Map Info tool [i], which is located below the map.
- Select the part of the map you are interested in. The policies that are related to that particular area will pop up in a window.
- Select the Further Info option for each policy to read that policy in full.
