The Environmental Health Department delivers a range of front line services including Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Pollution Control, Licensing, Refuse Collection & general Public Health and Private Sector Housing

The aim of the service is to ensure that comprehensive public heath and housing advice is delivered to all residents and property owners of the District as well as the enforcement of public health and housing statute where appropriate.
