Derbyshire Arts Partnership

South Derbyshire District Council has joined with other local authorities in Derbyshire and the Arts Council to form the Derbyshire Arts Partnership. The partnership pools resources and works strategically on a number of projects including the Arts Derbyshire website, a crafts at the castle event, a designer maker marketing grants scheme and the Focusing Creativity business support programme.

The arts information website for Derbyshire. The one-stop shop for arts activities and news across Derbyshire and Derby City, including a directory of Derbyshire artists and arts organisations.

People-express

At a more local level the Council makes a contribution to the core running costs of People Express, the only professional community arts organisation in South Derbyshire.
