The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) has now opened at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum to provide information to visitors about events, attractions and accommodation and much more in South Derbyshire and The National Forest. The Centre also aims to inform local residents about things to do in the District and about tourist destinations throughout Britain.
The Tourist Information Centre can provide and help with
- information and holiday brochures for the local area and other destinations in the UK – with details about events, attractions, and places to eat and drink
- local and national accommodation bookings
- local gifts, souvenirs, cards and crafts
- advice on walking, cycling and other activities
- travel information
