Many Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) are unaware of the business opportunities to be gained from tendering for public sector contracts.

Opportunities for small to medium sized enterprises

The alleged complexity of the tendering process combined with UK and EU procurement regulations leads to many SMEs either ignoring the market or submitting poorly researched applications.

As a result of this concern, and the benefits SMEs may be loosing out on, the Government has produced a guide entitled Tendering For Government Contracts, which aims to inform SMEs of the opportunities available.
