The Festival of Leisure is held every year in Maurice Lea Memorial Park, Church Gresley.
This year's festival will be held on 26 and 27 June 2010 and a packed programme of events has been organised.
Daredevil displays, demonstrations, music and activities will take place from 1.00pm to 5.00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Company of Horsemen, a group of trick riders, will be treating the crowds to a display of showmanship in the arena; chainsaw carvers will create fabulous sculptures; Capable Canines and the Delta Hawks Model Flying Club will, amongst others be showing off their skills.
Festival regulars including the Magic Attic's history archive, Punch & Judy, football skills and martial arts demonstrations, a craft marquee and the presence of our national charities will ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Festival promises to be the best ever and will have extra prestige this year as Maurice Lea Memorial Park is celebrating its 80th birthday!
