Festival of Leisure

Festival of Leisure 2012

Festival of Leisure Fire Stunt
It is estimated that between 8,000 and 10,000 people descended on Maurice Lea Memorial Park each year for the event.

It is a weekend that aims to have a bit of everything for everybody from a wide range of sporting and carnival events with arena activities, side-shows and entertainment. And, the best news is, there is no entrance fee.

This year’s Festival of Leisure will take place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th June 2012.

Tender applications for hot food sales, ice cream and inflatable concessions are now being sought and tender forms are available to download below.  Completed forms will be accepted until 12 noon on Friday 17th February 2012.

Application forms for trade, charity and information stands can also be made by downloading and completing the relevant form found at the bottom of this page.  If you are not sure which category your stand falls into, please seek advice by phoning 01283 595846.

We are also seeking local entertainers to participate in this year’s event so if you are a member of a marching band, dance group, gymnastics team etc and would be interested in performing within the main arena at the Festival of Leisure please contact us by using the form below.  Please note spaces are limited and are at the discretion of the Event Manager.
