Community safety

South Derbyshire District Council is a key partner in the Safer South Derbyshire Partnership that aims to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime in the district. The Partnership's Support Team is based within the district council offices and co-ordinates the activities of the partner agencies.

The Support Team also manage and co-ordinate the Safer Neighbourhoods project which involves local people working with Partnership agencies to improve the safety and quality of their neighbourhood.
