The annual event will be taking place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June at Maurice Lea Memorial Park in Church Gresley.
The festival is a mix of professional entertainment, trade and charity stands, sporting events and displays by local and national interest groups.
The District Council is currently looking for groups to showcase their talents in displays to be held in the main arena.
Event Organiser Rita McGoldrick said: “The Festival of Leisure is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the South Derbyshire calendar, and thousands of people turnout every year to see the wide variety of entertainment on offer.
“Last year we had displays from a local football team and a local jujitsu club, which went down really well with the crowd.
“This year we would like to extend the invite to other groups that would like to put on a display of approximately 20 minutes long in the main arena.”
Any groups hoping to put on a display should email their details to grounds@south-derbys.gov.uk.
Application forms for charity and trade stalls can also be downloaded from the Council’s website at www.south-derbys.gov.uk
