Communications Team

South Derbyshire District Council’s Communications Team looks after the Council’s external and internal communications.

The team works hard to:

  • Protect and enhance South Derbyshire District Council’s reputation

  • Promote the understanding of the work of the Council, its policies and services

  • Add to the Council’s openness and accountability

  • Communicate with people in South Derbyshire and beyond

  • Provide a round-the-clock accurate and fast service to all media

  • Increase the awareness of South Derbyshire as a centre for economic investment

  • Encourage visitors from the District and further afield to enjoy the attractions of South Derbyshire
