The Local Development Framework Core Strategy issues and Alternative Options consultation ran between January and May 2010.

This consultation closed at the end of May 2010 and the results will be available in December 2010.
The STATUS Tenants Satisfaction Survey was carried out to gauge local authority tenant satisfaction with their housing and the area they live, contact and communication with their landlord and the repairs service.
Consultation period: Between September and December 2008.
Who got involved: A sample of 3,076 surveys were sent to both sheltered
housing residents and general housing residents across the District.
Results:
We received 2,086 completed questionnaires. Overall tenant satisfaction with our services is high, with overall satisfaction of both general needs and sheltered tenants at 90.60%. A full summary of the results is available under related documents at the bottom of this page
As part of developing South Derbyshire’s Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) a detailed programme of consultation was undertaken between September 2008 and December 2008. Stakeholders were encouraged to have their say on what they think are local priorities and what South Derbyshire and its partners should be focusing on to make South Derbyshire a better place to live, now and in the future.
Consultation period: September to December 2008.
Who got involved: Anyone living and/or working in South Derbyshire

The Place Survey is a questionnaire that was sent to South Derbyshire households asking for views on what its like to live in the local area and for comments on a range of issues including community safety and local decision-making. View the Place Survey web page for further details.
Consultation period: From 25 September 2008 to 19 December 2008.
Who got involved: 4,000 randomly selected households across South Derbyshire received a copy of the questionnaire in the post.
How I got involved: We received 1,616 completed questionnaires. A full summary of the results can be found on our Place Survey results page.
The company states that the number of calls made from public payphones has more than halved in the last three years. It wished to consult on the removal of the following 18 public payphones within the district.
Consultation Period: Until 7th August 2008
Who got involved: It was open to all
Results: We have collated your feedback along with that of our Councillors and MP and have sent the Council's formal response to BT. A summary of the feedback is available at: BT Payphone Removal Consultation.
A new survey was undertaken in partnership with the Swadlincote District 50+ Forum, South Derbyshire Council for Voluntary Services, Safer South Derbyshire and Derbyshire County Primary Care Trust to find out the involvement of those aged 50+ in the District in leisure and physical activities and also opinions on community safety in South Derbyshire.
Consultation Period: until 30th April 2008
Who got involved: South Derbyshire residents aged over fifty.
