Local Priorities Questionnaire

South Derbyshire Local Strategic Partnership is currently developing a new Sustainable Community Strategy that will set out the vision for the district and identify priorities to make South Derbyshire a better place to live, now and in the future. This will be published in April 2009.

The Sustainable Community Strategy is a document which demonstrates how South Derbyshire District Council and its partners will work together to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area.

To make sure we have the right priorities in this strategy we are talking to local people across South Derbyshire and working with specialist groups representing the needs of older people, minority ethnic communities, disabled people, young people etc.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to find out local priorities so that we can use the feedback, along with other consultation mechanisms, to help shape future priorities, understand why they are important and what action can be taken either by organisations, communities or individuals to achieve them.

All the information we gather will influence the new Sustainable Community Strategy and by completing this questionnaire you will have the opportunity to feed in your views.

The survey has now closed - a summary of results is attached in the related documents section.
