Each supplier has a different pricing plan but even people with prepayment meters have a choice of which supplier they use. The following services provide a facility, which will help you find the cheapest energy supplier for you area and circumstances.

Consumer Focus gives advice and information on energy issuesfor both domestic and business consumers. They will help you deal with any complaints you may have about your supply and they offer a price comparison service.

They are independent and their services can be accessed via the phone on 0800 88 77 77 and via the Energy Help and Advice page. A full list of other price comparison services is also available through Energy Watch.

Energy Watch website If you pay through a pre-payment or card meter then the not for profit Ebico service may be able to provide the best deal, you can call them on 0800 458 7689.
