Firework displays and bonfires voluntary registration scheme

We operate a voluntary registration scheme for organisers of firework displays and bonfires. You can download the information pack below.

Each year we urge the public to look out for advertisements bearing the registration disc as an indication of a well-organised event. Registered events are also listed on this website and the Fire Service's website www.derbys-fire.gov.uk

Information pack

You can download each of the documents below Related documents.

To register your event, please complete and return the following:

  • Firework Displays and Bonfire Guidance
  • Firework Displays and Bonfires Site Plan (include all relevant details)
  • Photocopy of the insurance certificate (must be returned for registration)

You must complete all sections of the forms and return them to us as soon as possible (address at the bottom of this page) to prevent any delays in processing the registration and enable the discs to be issued in time for your advertising.

When we receive your completed forms, we will contact the Fire Service and they may contact you to arrange a site inspection. When they confirm that the event is being organised satisfactorily, we will register your event and send a sheet of discs to you.
