Smokefree workplaces - your comments

The smokefree legislation came into effect in England in Summer 2007. Legislation covering Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland came into effect earlier.

In his annual report, the Chief Medical officer highlighted the economic costs / benefits of creating smoke-free workplaces. It shows an overall net benefit to society of £2.3 billion. Going Smoke free: the economic analysis (external link)
