Council estates

The estate tours programme ensures that we inspect the twelve areas that received the most complaints about anti-social behaviour over the previous twelve months.

Making this an annual programme will help us to tackle anti-social behaviour and environmental crime on our estates.

The programme also demonstrates our commitment to our communities by ensuring that we can be seen responding to anti-social behaviour.

During each tour, officers will note the condition of the area (graffiti, litter, abandoned cars, etc), condition of property and gardens and street furniture (signs, etc). When they return, officers will report any clean ups etc to relevant departments, write to tenants if necessary and produce a summary report of the tour and outcomes.

Come along and meet your Housing Services staff, Councillors, Community Officers, Community Wardens
and representatives from other public organisations.
Walk around your communitywith the aim of identifying areas for improvement. All meetings take place on Thursdays at 10am.
