We own and manage shops, land and commercial and industrial units. These are called assets.

Managing our own assets includes:

Making sure that they are fit for purpose
Negotiating, enforcing and varying restrictions
Granting rights of way and other property rights
Marketing empty shops and units
Selling property or land with the Council's approval. The money can be re-invested in property, or used to provide services.
