The new regulatory framework for housing providers requires us to meet 5 standards of excellence covering:

• Involvement and empowerment
• Maintaining the home
• Tenancies
• Neighbourhood and communities
• Value for money

Another requirement is to produce an Annual Report detailing how we meet the standards with our activities and what we aim to do during the following year to meet any gaps. Our reports are jointly produced with our publications panel made up of 5 tenants. They meet with us regularly and have the opportunity to ensure our assessments are honest and in places they have changed both the design and overall look of the report. Ultimately it is the publications panel who have the final say on when the report is ready to be published.
