South Derbyshire District Council

In conjunction with the Friends of Newhall Park, we have spent over £150,000 on park improvements. Developments include new play areas, a quiet area, footpath links, reinstating the entrance gates and park railings, which were removed for armaments in the Second World War, and restoration of the bandstand. The park is also greatly enhanced by the spectacular display of spring flowers that have been planted over a number of years by the Friends Group and local school children.
