What's on

Things to do in South Derbyshire and The National Forest are many and varied, ranging from small friendly local gatherings to large events drawing people from a wide area.

A varied programme of events is staged annually at a number of major attractions including Calke Abbey, Rosliston Forestry Centre, Sharpe's Pottery Museum, Conkers, Elvaston Castle and the Catton Hall estate.  The fascinating tradition of Well Dressing is found only in or near Derbyshire.

Our comprehensive 'What's On' guide is published several times a year and available free from Swadlincote Tourist Information Centre. You can get hold of a copy by ringing the TIC on 01283 222848; calling in to collect it yourself; you can read it online below or by selecting one of the links, or by downloading it from the bottom of this page under 'Related documents'.
