The glorious gardens of South Derbyshire District Council Tenants are being celebrated at Belmont Club, Swadlincote on Wednesday 16 July, 2008.

A prize ceremony is being held with competition winners presented with their awards by the gardening competition judges Councillor Pat Murray and Joyce Eccles of the South Derbyshire Tenant Forum.

The prizes include Overall Winner, Most Improved Garden, Best Sheltered Communal Garden, Best Small Garden, Best Tubs, Pots and Baskets, Best Rear Garden, Best Front Garden and two judges’ special prizes. The winners come from all over the district including Etwall, Church Gresley, Castle Gresley, Newhall and Swadlincote.
