Tickets for the event are essential, so get in quick with your ticket requests by contacting Reception on 01283 519119 at the award-winning Rosliston Forestry Centre. If you want to save energy by not cooking, the Hub Restaurant at Rosliston will be open. Walks will start at 15 minute intervals for 6.15pm and you can expect to be scared for about forty minutes. Tickets cost just £4.00 for adults and £3.00 for children. It’s not for the faint-hearted nor for children under eight.
Says Kate Allies of the Environment Education Project, “This is an ideal opportunity for parents and children to enjoy the fun of Hallowe’en in a scary but safe environment together. To add to the eerie atmosphere it would be wonderful if people came in spooky fancy dress. I’ve seen quite a few scary Hallowe’en outfits in supermarkets that weren’t very expensive. Hallowe’en at Rosliston is a bit of a tradition. We’re good at scaring people!”
