South Derbyshire Biodiversity Audit

South Derbyshire Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) commissioned Derbyshire Wildlife Trust (DWT) to undertake an assessment of biodiversity across the District in 2006. This brings together ecological and geological information to provide an overview of the natural environment of South Derbyshire. 

The report gives us the evidence that we are required to collect under Planning Policy Statement 9 (PPS9): Biodiversity and Geological Conservation. This information will help us to plan effectively for biodiversity and geodiversity within the Local Development Framework.
