We promote the reclamation or improvement of derelict, neglected or unsightly land through the policies contained within the Local Plan that seeks to see such land in sustainable locations developed before greenfield sites. We can serve an Enforcement Notice on owners of neglected sites to secure tidying up.

The Government has compiled the National Land use Database which is a national register of previously developed land.
